DRAMA IN THE CLASSROOM. TEATRO EN LA ESCUELA. PROYECTO ETWINNING
Este proyecto se crea con el propósito de animar a nuestros alumnos y alumnas a representar historietas cortas en clase. Con ello se espera reforzar el vocabulario adquirido propio de cada nivel así como incrementar sus habilidades comunicativas en la segunda lengua, con especial atención a la comprensión y expresión orales.
En otras palabras, se pretende que los alumnos y alumnas representen dentro de clase una amplia variedad de historietas cuyo vocabulario y estructuras gramaticales se adapten a los contenidos propios de su nivel. Se estima que ello repercutirá en una mayor comprensión de un amplio número de textos, haciéndola más asequible y amena, más efectiva y más rápida.
En el desarrollo de este proyecto se contemplan dos grupos de alumnos y alumnas que en todo caso irán alternándose progresivamente: Actores y espectadores, dentro de una misma clase.
Pero con el hermanamiento de dos o más Centros por el proyecto Etwinning, se pretende extender el alcance de la actividad más allá del aula. Grabar las representaciones para que sean visionadas por los alumnos y alumnas que participen en esta actividad en el Centro asociado y visionar las representaciones del Centro asociado en nuestro propio Centro.

Escucha atentamente una historia breve y sencilla.
Interpreta personajes de una historia breve y sencilla.
Reconoce auditivamente y expresa con propiedad el vocabulario y las estructuras gramaticales propias del área para el Ciclo y el Nivel.
My aim at setting up this project is to encourage our pupils to perform short stories in class. I expect this will increase their vocabulary and improve their ability at listening and at speaking English. In short, I'm convinced it will not only improve their comprehension of several written and oral English texts specially produced according to their primary school level, but acting stories out will also strengthen their skills at speaking a second language, and this benefit will not only extend to the pupils of one specific school, who either perform or watch a given play, but also to the pupils of each one of the partner schools, who will watch the videos of the performances, and after learning its contents, will in turn, play other stories out and make their own videos.
Acting stories out will not only improve the pupil’s skills at a second language, in one specific school, but those who’ll watch the performances in partner schools will enhance their English as well. They should watch and understand the videos, and they should give us the necessary feedback to continue in the right way. Next, the process should be started the other way round.
I expect this project will increase their vocabulary and improve their ability at listening, understanding and at speaking English. Acting stories out will improve their skills at a second language not only among those pupils who either perform or watch a play in one specific school but also among those who’ll watch the videos of the performances in partner schools, Next, when the process is done the other way round, the expected outcomes should be completely achieved.
